Music for Your Colorado Wedding

Every couple has a different idea of the music they'd like to hear on their wedding day. At minimum, we like to play a musical selection for the bride's entrance, and one other selection to begin when the bride and groom share their first kiss as man and wife.

If the wedding couple has songs that are special to them, they are welcome to bring music on an iPod, iPhone or CD to be played during the wedding. Otherwise, the innkeepers at Blue Skies Inn have a large collection of wedding music from which to choose. We also can download music from Amazon and iTunes.

Assuming that the bride and groom haven't already selected their music, they will find a CD player in their suite with our collection of CD's when they check in. After listening to them, they may choose a selection for the bride as she walks in, and a selection for the first kiss.

When the wedding couple have chosen their wedding music, our staff will translate the music to one of our iPods and manage our sound system during the ceremony.

We have variety of sound systems -- Bose iPod docks for small weddings and indoor ceremonies, and an Ion "Block Rocker" iPod/iPhone dock about the size of a suitcase and capable of filling the whole garden with celebratory music.

Of course, the wedding couple is welcome to opt to have a guest or professional musician play during the ceremony and/or the reception.

One bridal couple chose a harpist, and another chose a bagpiper. We are happy to help you find the musicians that you need, though sometimes the gardens provide their own music.

One memorable ceremony was punctuated by the soft calls of hummingbirds visiting our flowers!

Then again, sometimes the musical selection for that first kiss is so compelling, you've just got to boogie down the aisle! Pretty sure they were dancing to more than just hummingbird music.
